Dear Mitch,

Senator Mitch McConnell
Russell Senate Office Building
317 Delaware Ave NE
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Mitch,

Did you go to church this morning? What makes me doubt it? - perhaps I shouldn’t.

I did go. The preacher was eloquent on the “gifts,” especially the gifts the Spirit gives to members of the church for the common good. But it got me thinking about the gift of governance that we have given you. Is that not also for the common good? Think about it, you selfish prick. I’m assuming you have at least technical knowledge of what “common good” means.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Your friend in Christ,

Thomas Nashe

cc. Nancy Pelosi with note

P. S. apology to my mom in heaven. I should not have called the Senate Majority Leader a “prick,” but tell me you wouldn't be upset at a man so oblivious to the public good.
