Religionis civilitatisque

a prisoner for Christ Jesus - Eph. 3:1
Speaking of born agains (See here.), this from my friend Ted Riich's Uncle Albert:

We accuse Kim Davis “and her ilk” of choosing
their religion to fit their politics . . . as if we all
       didn’t.

Clinton and Trump drop out of respective races

Every now and then, for purposes of sanity, I go on a news fast. It is not a season of fasting like Lent that I have marked on my calendar, whose beginning I can look forward to and whose ending I can anticipate. This fast begins when it begins like any other diet; I become so sick of what I am eating, what it tastes like, and what it is doing to my body and soul, I begin to fast. And when I begin to feel better, I start eating again.

What is delightful – one almost suspects divine – about a news fast: When one returns to his grocery, he finds that some of the items on the shelves have changed. How lovely this time to go away for a week and to return to find that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have dropped out of their respective races for the good of their parties and the country they love more than themselves!

Rub-a-dub-dub

Lousy resolution, I know; but it
was
back there in a moldy folder somewhere - I knew that, too.
Curly Minage, Moe Cyrus, and
Larry Swift peeing in each other’s bath water.
